  • Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra

    The “Orpheus” radio Symphonic Orchestra was created 15 years ago. It is the only orchestra in Russia which specializes in the creation of the content for the classic music radio station “Orpheus”. It consists of musicians of the highest professional level. The Symphonic Orchestra of the radio “Orpheus” is managed by the young, but already famous conductor Sergei Kondrashev (student of the great Russian masters Mark Ermler and Gennadiy Rojdestvenskiy).

  • Big Academicy

    Formed in 1998, the Orchestra has created its own unique style based on the best traditions of music bands which are broadcasted in Russia. It consists of musicians of the highest professional level. The Symphony Orchestra of Orpheus Radio station is a permanent participant in international music fests and solo recitals of outstanding performers which are held on the leading music venues of Moscow.

  • Folk Choir of Traditional Russian Song “Pesni Rossii” (Songs of Russia)

    Academic choir of the Russian song – one of the eldest professional national bands of Russia. Its structure is traditional: the choir, the orchestra and the dancing groups. During the concerts they are in a constant movement, evolution, interaction, making the performances bright and vivid, and their multicolored costumes powerfully strengthen the impression.

  • Folk Choir of Traditional Russian Song “Slavyanskiye Napevy” (Slavic Melodies)

    The Band, which consists of 60 members, is subdivided into so-called “small groups”. Instrumental band “Valday”, vocal band “Etnos+”, and band “Khoroshyye Devchata” (Nice Girls) can be considered quite independent; they create their own unique concert programs. In 2006 Alexander Darmastouk was invited to lead the choir. Before joining it, this well-known master had made a great contribution into making professional groups of folk art performers popular both in Russia and abroad.

  • Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing”

    Through the years the Choir cherishes traditions laid down by its creator and distinguished conductors as well. Outstanding Russian musicians including Nikolai Golovanov, Alexander Gauk, Sviatoslav Richter, Evgeny Svetlanov, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Dmitry Kitayenko, Vladimir Fedoseev, Elena Obraztsova, Irina Arkhipova, Evgeny Nesterenko, Zurab Sotkilava, Nikolai Gedda, Mikhail Pletnev, Mstislav Rostropovich at different times performed with the Choir.

  • Big Band “Orpheus”

    Artistic Director - Igor Kantyukov, composer, Honoured Artist of Russia. The Band consists of 17 members, all musicians are virtuosos of jazz improvisation. Among musical preferences of the Big Band Orpheus is their own interpretation of the world jazz masterpieces. Another specialty of the Band s creative work could be called Russian Jazz. It includes adaptations of hits by Russian composers, music from movies and musicals and pieces by the Band members.

  • Andrew Solod – Soloist 

    Andrew Solodkiy, the stage name is Andrew Solod, is one of the most impressive representatives of Russian pop music. Sincere romanticism and subtle sense of melodic line distinguish him. He conveys the idea of a composer with inspiration, generously shares his rich emotions with audience. Andrew is a laureate of international pop-jazz competitions.

Warning! In the Netherlands, an organization is presenting itself under the name of ICMA 2015 – International Classical Music Auditions, with a corporate identity resembling very much to the one of the International Classical Music Awards, ICMA.

The Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) announced the Awards for 2015. Conductor Dmitrij Kitajenko, 74, is honored with our Lifetime Achievement Award. Violinist Christian Tetzlaff is Artist of the Year, young violinist Yury Revich and Belgian soprano Jodie Devos are ICMA’s Young Artists of the Year. Leipzig based Accentus Music is Label of the Year. In total eight Special Awards are listed.

The ICMA nomination list for 2015 is available. For the 2015 awards the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) has nominated 248 audio and video productions from 85 labels. With 17 nominations,  Harmonia Mundi is on the first place, followed by Deutsche Grammophon (15) and Decca (14).
