Warning! In the Netherlands, an organization is presenting itself under the name of ICMA 2015 – International Classical Music Auditions, with a corporate identity resembling very much to the one of the International Classical Music Awards, ICMA.

The Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) announced the Awards for 2015. Conductor Dmitrij Kitajenko, 74, is honored with our Lifetime Achievement Award. Violinist Christian Tetzlaff is Artist of the Year, young violinist Yury Revich and Belgian soprano Jodie Devos are ICMA’s Young Artists of the Year. Leipzig based Accentus Music is Label of the Year. In total eight Special Awards are listed.

The ICMA nomination list for 2015 is available. For the 2015 awards the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) has nominated 248 audio and video productions from 85 labels. With 17 nominations,  Harmonia Mundi is on the first place, followed by Deutsche Grammophon (15) and Decca (14).

The representatives of the Russian State Music TV and Radio Centre attended the 23rd IAMA International Conference.

The ICMA Awards Ceremony 2014 will take place during the Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw. The ICMA 2015 event will be held at the Bilkent Hall of the Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, with the prestigious academic Bilkent Symphony Orchestra.
